promised are made to be come true or broken??

what if your living for 5 years or more and still your partner didn't marry you,but he promised to do so.Are you keeping this promised or let it down?I have been experience this scenario that the father of my son promised a happy marriage to me and i learned he had new girl friend,what did you feel?how will you handle this?would you rather let go or hold hid promised to you?Up to this moment i really don't know the answer.

it's depend on the person who made a promise. But if it were me , i always try to keep my promise.Not broke it

we can never predict whats in their mind however,its depend on the person who made it sometimes though they try to make it come true they failed it.

hi ellechoi, if you still hold his promise.. make ways that he will realized of what promise he made. you know sometimes a person will make a promise because of being happy for a moment but never hold to it,and it's sad because they broke it

That is up to the person involved with the promise. It can be kept or broken for their benefit. In your case, insist on your partner to marry you soon. You can ask help from his friends and relatives too in this matter. Say to him that you are losing hope in this living together set up and you badly need marriage. Give pressure on him and he should turn back to you!
