Ever wondered why your income is never enough? Do you think the frequency of pay raise is too slow to compete with inflation. I do feel this way. Usually it is a norm for us to have a pay raise only once a year....sometimes not even once a year. Do you think with only one pay raise a year which usually is less than 10% is sufficient the rising cost of living? For me, it is a definite NO! What do you guy think?

In our office, it is not that easy to get a raise. I am lucky enough to get a raise of 6% last year because many of my officemates didnt get any. In our company, increases can only be approved if there has been a good production for the previous year, and if you get a grade of 3 and up in the balance score card. And yes i do agree with you that the raises are not sufficient to the rising cost of living. I just make it a point to be thrifty with my spendings.

Yes. We do need to control our spendings. Since inflation rate is getting higher each and every moment, goods and services are getting more and more expensive. If we do not know how to control our spendings and keep on spending as we used to. By no time we will find ourselves broke. Therefore we would need to compare prices before purchase and be a smart consumer in order to survive. Besides, we should also find alternatives to increase our income in order to improve our living.
