Is it harmful to love some one too much, loving some one more than anything

May be love and affection could give mental peace,but it is harmful if it is too much also. Recently I read a news in that a man committed suicide as the court did not allow him to be with his only daughter. The court gave life long improsonment to him as that man murdered his wife when he had caught her red handed while haveing illegal affair with her uncle. But he was unable to withstand the worry of his only daugter.
I hope if love is excess it could even effect one's mental balance, love is needed but too much may harm. But to get true love is also a priceless gift.

This is a beautiful song by Patti Smith...listen to the whole song and try to understand that loving someone too much or love on it's own is NOT enough.

it was harmful to me bcs i loved my ex too much and i got sick bcs of him. till now my head is not totally ok. i cry very easy, i feel the need to be loved all the time and if the person doesnt have that time i be sad. is like i need love more than anything else and if i dont have it i feel very bad. so yes it is but if you love someone too much and the person loves you too much too is great feeling that i would like to feel^^
