The Third Opinion

In relationship, sometimes you had a deadlock in a discussion and ended up with ongoing disagreement. In many cases these disagreement led to a fight. Personally, I believe that every problem can be solved with a good communication. Some of my friends believe that it will be good if they have the third party to give a non-bias opinion to help them decide who's "the winner". Do you think the third opinion is needed? Do you think the third opinion will help you solve anything or just make it worse?

I think it depends on the topic that started the fight in the first place :) Maybe they need some outside help, but other things i think they should just figure it out themselves.

What sort of topics do you think would need the help of the 3rd party, and what kind of topics shouldn't use the help of the 3rd party? I mean, if it depends on the trigger, so that should be categories where the topic should be disclose or discreet...

Personal topics should be just between them and the rest could need a third party

I truly believe a third party is only good to be kind of a mediater if the situation gets heated it's ok to ask advice but really communication is the best and why bring someone else into your problems with your spouse is how I think....I listened to much to outside opinions and things said about my ex husband now I'm not saying it wasn't true of what I heard but I was also left feeling it was too negative and needed to make up my own mind to be positive....And learn to communicate with my ex...

Hey, I think you're right, BlueAngel... The third person is sometimes needed to moderate the discussion between two people. They can help mediate the communication too. Thanks for your response
