my friend and i were taking the girls and her dogs on an outing. We have kids and dogie dates. lol they love it. well we found a wallet with $90.00 in it and i gave it to a police officer she looked at it and in it and was like wow there's still money in it. IS the the people in the world that bad? like i have anuff bad luck i don't need any more. what would you do if it were you?

lol i'm that way with my home town exapt the police station is down town you go buy it on like a daily basis there.

lol, but I've lived in this city for 18 years. I kno the basics, home, school(s), libraries, market, stores, parks. If anyone asked me where do I have to go to find an dinery, I'd just look at him blank faced. Same to street names. Names are relative right, just like time.

Police or any person can be tempted when there is money involved. Maybe because of the hard times. But there are still good individuals around though not so many. You are one of them. Be proud of yourself. However the next time you'll find anything, particularly a wallet, try contacting the owner himself if there are identification papers with the item. At least you'll know you have ensured that the item has been returned to its owner.

yeah this one only had a bank card that was the only useful thing.

I would have done the same if I were you.
I don't think the police officer thought that you could have taken the money from the wallet before giving her the wallet. Probably in most cases, wallets are stolen, emptied then thrown away. You could have found such an empty wallet. I think that's why the police officer was surprised when she saw there were still money in the wallet you found.
