Each and everyone of us have 24 hours a day. I really admire some people who seems to be able to accomplish so much. At times, I do feel that 24hrs a day is too little, but most of the time, I do find that 24 hours a day is not enough. I simply have so much things to do, so many more things to learn! How about you? Do you think that 24 hours a day is enough? Share it with us!

Well I am also like you sometimes I think that 24 hours a day is to much, but then other times I think that 24 hours is to little because then I don't get to finish what I want to finish in that day so yeah for me it really depends on the day if I feel that it is to little or maybe just to much sometimes. Like sometimes I feel like the day should be 48 hours so I can get everything done, but yeah that's how life is at times oh well I think that 24 hours should be plenty from now on I think that is is a fair amount. Hmm still when one is bored time tends to go much slower than when somebody is having fun which has the opposite effect and time tends to go much faster. Time is really something that we never have to much of and sometimes we do so weird. Anyway love the question, questions about time always seem to interest me don't really know why, but yeah have a nice full 24 hour day.

If you think 24hours isn't enough time. Try to sit and stare at the clock until it does a full rotation...twice...

Hi Anime, I really agree with your comments. Many a time, I too don't get to finish what I am suppose to do so really hope that 24 hours can be extended. But, this is just life. We are given 24 hours a day and so we need to make use of them. It is a fair amount. Though I complain of not enough time, I can't image life with more or less than 24 hours. Same, I do have an interest in questions about time. Hi Diamond, it's true, if we sit and stare at the clock until it does a full rotation twice, then I believe we never want 24 hours a day anymore. But, I might as well use the time to sleep!

Talking about sleep, I have a very loud clock in my room. So everytime I struggle to get to sleep, I hear the second hand tick and starting counting every tick. Gets me everytime.

There was a time when 24 hours was not enough for me to do the things I wanted to do. At that time I did not have a maid, was working full time and taking care of my mother who has cancer. I experienced being awake for three days straight because I had to bring my mother to the hospital, have her settle in, talk to her doctors, then go to work. After work I would go straight to the hospital and talk to her doctors again, settle the bill, get all our stuff packed and then head home. When we get home I would have to cook for her and make sure she has everything she would need, then head out to work again. It took a toll on my health and I don't want to go through this ordeal again. I have learned that we can only do so much and it is acceptable to say that we can't do something rather than force ourselves to become superhuman.

Wow, you are awake for 3 days straight. I hope I can do that too! Yes, there is only so much that we can do, and we should not force ourselves. However busy we are, we need to make sure we do have enough rest and make sure that it does not affect our health. Once our health is affected, we won't be able to do any more things. I hope you are not as busy as you are then. BTW, how's your mother?

I just wish time would go by slower. Like 10 minutes to 10 hours go by in a flash. Time is precious. But in order for us to take advantage to of having more hours (if we di have it), all that woudl matter would be that we were functional longer (less sleep needed for our bodies to survive, etc.). But for me, I need lots of sleep or I can't get through the day.

Glad you are another who needs real sleep! Some people are just lucky who honestly don't need as many hours of sleep. 8 hours would be the minimum for me. Argggh. wish it could be less. But also sometimes I can even sleep more than 10 hours.

Me too. I need lots of sleep otherwise, I won't be able to last throughout my day. But, have you heard that researches have reported that we should not sleep more than 7-8 hours a day? When I knew about that, I try to drink more coffee, which of course, is not good for health too. IF time were to go by slower, all our problems would be solved. Only when the sun comes up faster, and goes down slower.

24 hours is not enough time for me, because I have so many interests, so many chores, so many responsibilities, and so many family members and friends that I never, ever get everything done in a day that I had planned. I truly wish I could live without sleep! But I think an even better solution than having more hours each day would be to have an extra day a week. That way, we would not have to just overextend ourselves more during the extra hour or so we have each of the seven days, we would have an additional full day to get stuff done and recharge our batteries. But unfortunately, we are stuck with what we have, so a lot of my stuff will remain forever undone or half finished.

Yes it is because of our interest that we find 24 hours not enough. If we don't have any other interest except working, perhaps we'll have time. Same here, I never get everything done in a day that I had planned. It would be cool if we humans could live without sleep. It is extremely frustrating when we are doing something important but our brain starts to shut down! Yes, since we are stucked with 24 hours a day, my stuff too, usually remain half-finished!! Hi-Five!! Let's work forward together.

I also have three children and a husband that i have to take care of. 24 hours in a day is plenty when you organize your time

Yes, we really need to plan our time, picking the one task that is the most important and doing it first. Otherwise, we'll never get anything done. Woh, you have 3 children and a husband to take care, I really do admire you as I have troubles even taking care of myself. Yes, 24 hours is definitely enough for us. I really should learn some time management.

I think 24 hours is enough for me. I believe God never makes mistake. He gave us only 24 hours a day because that is already sufficient for us. Now if there would be time we feel that 24 hours is now enough to accomplish all we want in a day then that is either because they don't know how to manage their time or it is just that they are trying to do more than they could handle for a day. Well, to those who feel that 24 hours a day is not enough for them, my unsolicited advice is for them to slow down a bit otherwise they might just die early because of stress. Work when it is time to work and rest and sleep when it is time to do so.

Every day I seem to be busy doing something and I never get around to doing everything that I would like to in a day. Sometimes I run out of time, other times, other things crop up to distract me or I run out of energy and need to do nothing to wind down at the end of the day. I think there should be more hours in the day. Life just seems way too busy these days. Perhaps there are just too many things to do nowadays. Life used to be much more simple once upon a time!

Indeed, life is really to busy. We never stop working, and when we are away from our computer, we can be found drained out on the bed. Same here, I am never able to complete my daily tasks. At times, I do think about what would I be if my life was as simple as the past.

Like you, I don't think 24 hours is enough for all the things that I need done in a day. Often, I end up running around and compromising with myself for the other things to be done the following day. So it keeps piling up. And the worst is that to get more out of the day, I take from the time that I am supposed to be sleeping or resting. It gets to be tiring.

Yes, we always make compromise as we do not have enough time to complete whatever we want for the day. Because we want to accomplish so much more, we take our sleeping time and work. Sooner or later, it will get tiring. As such, my intake of coffee has increased dramatically. Sometimes, I don't even have enough energy to concentrate on what I have to do for the day due to the lack of sleep.

I think it's enough for me; depends on how you manage your time. I'm always busy in the morning so in the afternoon, there's so much time to relax. Eight hours of sleep and 16 hours to do the household chores that's me because I don't have a career right now.

With so much things to do, how can 24 hours a day ever be enough? I don't think it is for anyone. Apart from our usual stuff such as working, studying etc, we still need to be here on the net to get in touch with the various society happenings. Bloe mart, you said it, we have to use it wisely.

When my kids were little I thought I didn't have enough time in a day. Now that they are grown, twenty four hours seems to be just long enough. If the day was longer so would the hours to be at work or doing something for someone else, still wouldn't have enough time for yourself or family doing what you like.

Yes. Should there be more than 24 hours a day, I don't think we have more time to rest. Instead, we'll be spending more time to work. Therefore, I would say 24 hours a day is just right. It depends on what kind of situation we are in, and this will usually determine whether we have enough time or not.

There is an ever widening gap between the time we take to completing the task and the time, which is available to us. Therefore, there is never an enough time. By that measure 24 hours, which is available to us is never enough.

Yes, there is an every widening gap. Many say the computer helps humans to do things faster, complete tasks faster. I do agree. But at the same time, we are being limited by the internet. Without the internet, we realise that we are lost and don't know where else to get our information. On the other hand, the internet has since caused us more disruption that we could ever have.

Hello! Before when im a stay-at-home mom, 24 hours seems to be too long or sometimes, its just enough because on a day to day basis, we were able to schedule our daily activities at home. Im talking about me, and my daughter because she's the one im with when at home because my husband works everyday. But now that i resume working, 24 hours seemed to be short and not enough for me. I always complain that im always running for my time. Im always in a hurry that i didn't have time for myself anymore. Being a working woman, mother, wife, friend, all around maid in the house was no joke. I began to feel so pressured, tired and helpless most of the times but im still thankful that we are so blessed and guided by the Lord almighty. Good night!

Yes, we have to be thankful that we are blessed. You indeed play many roles in your daily life. Although we complain much about not have enough time, we are usually able to find a way to conquer that. Just a personal interest, is it difficult to resume working after being a stay-at-home mom? Many a times, we work for a living. But work tend to overwhelm us, taking over our lives, leisure. Thus, it is necessary for us to know how to allocate time for various activities.

You are right, when we have nothing to do, 24 hours will seem extremely long. However, when we are enjoying doing something or when we are concentrating, then time becomes so difficult to pass that the day seems so long. Thus, the conclusion would be to try and make each and every of our activities fun!

24 hours in a day is definitely not enough for me. There is so much that I have to do, I never seem to get enough time to do the things I want to do. Perhaps if I get more organized, that would change. Every time I think I've conquered the organization, something else pops up to ruin it. Even with organization, I doubt that 24 hours in a day will ever be enough!

That's what I tell myself too. Perhaps if I get more organized, I will stop complaining that I don't have though time. Even if we were to organize our timing and have better time management, it is not easy too. We have many other committments as well as distraction. It takes a lot of discipline to stick to them. However, I hope that you are happy doing whatever you are doing. If so, we will have the energy to carry on.
