Do you have the tendency of being a stage mother?

Of course every mothers out there love to see their children perform on stage, in school or even in any community activities. I remember, even I was at my 35th week of my pregnancy that time, I did not bother to take pictures and videos of my children during their foundation day. And every school activities, I am the one who takes care of everything from the costume,shoes, make-up and hairdo. LOL! One time, I was not able to come with them, my husband took over instead. I got angry because there were precious moments that he did not capture. How I wish I was there. How about you?

I really can't think of a mother that I know that doesn't have the tendency of being a stage mother to a certain degree. Since I've had my children I would definitely say that I've always been their biggest fans. Whenever my daughter has a performance at school I am there and I make sure that as much of it as possible is recorded for her propriety. In addition to that, I also try to make sure that she never forgets anything that she might need.

I'm not a parent yet but I guess I can say I would definitely be a stage father to my children because I love theater and it has been a part of my life. I wish I could experience the joy and the excitement you had when you were at your children's foundation day

I do not know if I could, but I doubt it. I am the type who wants to give everyone a chance and does not favor one over another. Besides I would be too busy doing everything else and I had sons so being a stage mother did not happen to me.

I wasnt given the chance ha ha I am a working mom and I was not always there. But even so, I think I will not be a stage mother. Stage mothers are more severe than the normal mothers. I think what you did is just normal.

I am not yet a mother but I hope I don't have that tendencies although of course I like capturing the precious moments of each event.

Yes I am all about being there every moment I can as the way I see it is these days and years we will never get back and it is sweet to view them again on video and pictures. I love it so and can cry of joy remembering the moments.
