The term relationship is rooted from the word relation.And it is defined as a mutual affiliation or connection between individuals.Relationships are built where there is mutual understanding between or among individuals.However it is not built overnight.
Relationship is like shoe polish.The more you brush,the more it shine.So keep the RELATIONSHIP POLISHED.

i like this definition. you make it sound simple. how i wish that it were like that. but as we know, relationship is not as simple as that. it is complicated as two people try to get to know each other, and try to be with each other. i think it takes more than polishing. it does not lie on our effort alone, the other side should also exert effort to build relationship. as you said, it must be mutual.
