itunes does not accept password upon registration

Hello Mylotters! A friend has been asking me for a while to do one account in itunes like what i did with mine years ago. To my shocked, itunes does not accept any password i intend to put. It keeps telling that the password must be at least 8 characters mixed with letters and numbers. I tried doing it for a lot of times but looks the same, it does not accept. Now, whoever knows how to do something with this, please help. Thanks!
