In each and every team selectors everyone will think this time these players will get a chance, but the selectors are not including Robin Uthappa & Irfan Patan in the squad even though the are performing well in the Domestic matches and IPL. Everyonw knows the ability of these players and the have proved it. Even though they are in very good form recently the selectors are avoiding these players. According to me these 2 players must be included in playing 11,atleast give them a chance in 1 or 2 matches. What do you think about these issue...

I actually think that both of them got extended runs with the Indian team. Unfortunately for them it was at a time when they were out of form. Now the selectors are thinking twice before taking them back into the team. I think Uthappa was distinctly unlucky to miss out on the T20 World Cup. On the other hand, Pathan has to find his swing back if he wants to make it to the Indian team. Otherwise at his pace he will be easy pickings for the opponents. Cheers! Ram

Yes,uthappa was really unlucky to mis the young T20 squad. As you said Irfan must improve his bowling ,he is batting well. I dont think these selectors will consider those talents.

Include Rpsingh also in this mate, when Indian team goes overseas like SA, Australia and England he is excellent in those conditions, his bowling at Perth and Kingsmead ,Durban was simply brilliant i think he deserves a chance too.About Uthappa he is just too predictable as a batsman for any good bowler bowling to him anything outside the off stump he will throw his bat to it , and otherwise he charges down the wicket as bowler bowls to smash it in the air . So for a bowler's point of view if the balls comes in after pitching just outside the off stump there is every chance of him getting in on the stumps or a healthy edge and for his charging and playing in the air ,variation in length and pace , also fielder slightly back from normal mid on or mid off position can get an easy catch from Uthappa anytime. These things i mentioned happened many times and when a normal cricket fan like me can understand this , coaches and international bowlers must have figured this out very well i am sure, Uthappa can get away with this in IPL but not in international matches or even domestic cricket,so i hope he has worked on this .About Pathan he has become a flat bowler with no pace and swing , all he does is bowl wicket to wicket and just vary length waiting for something to happen. If he bowls at a pace of 130 and swings the ball he used to he will surely be back in the team and no selector can stop him from coming in the team , but bowls flat at a pace of 120 which is not good enough for a bowler to play in international matches,Though i hope he comes back before world cup with his old passion and swing.
