How many are too many?

Okay, so I didn't realize I had so many pairs until I washed two pair this week. When I was hanging them up I started trying to figure out where all my jeans came from. I have two pair I had in Chicago that I brought back with me. One pair was given to me when I was staying at the hospital with my son and didn't have any clothes. Then my friend gave me three pair when I went to visit her. I had no idea I had that many! Do you think you can have too many?

I'm a big fan of the saying "you can never have enough clothes." So no, that's not too many. It's not enough!! 
I was noticing this too when I was hanging up my clothes today. Actually I was adding up how much all my clothes costed thinking.. If I sold these I could buy a car..
But no matter how many clothes I have, I still end up going shopping ATLEAST once a month, sometimes I go every weekend.. I need to be stopped..

I'm actually quite the opposite. I rarely buy myself any clothes. I don't really like shopping, plus right now I cannot get out since I take care of my son. But if I could sell my clothes and buy a car I would because it would beat riding a bike around!

Hi, macdingolinger. That is not too many at all! I wished that I could have at least 7 pair of jeans to my name. I have none now. I will get me some this year too. I love wearing colored jeans with soft chenille sweaters. I plan to buy me a couple of pairs for this winter too. I think that when a person has up to 25 pairs of jeans, that is when it gets to be too many pairs. But not at six pairs. You are just getting started with the six that you have.

lol! Well I have other pants too, like khakis. But I don't wear them much especially since I am home all the time now!

It doesn't sound like too many to me. As long as they fit, and you aren't just hanging onto them.

Uhmmm, I'm not really sure if 8 counts as many to you. I think I still have few. So I guess that makes me love jeans.LOL. I have 3 hand me downs, the rest are bought as I needed it for work before. I'm still thinking of buying more. But as for you discussions, I'm starting to think I have that much, and buying more would not be nice. I guess.

That's what I was thinking! I am holding on to them so I can give them if I meet someone in need. But I think I bought two pair and the rest were all given to me. How cool is that!?!

I have a lot of jeans that I tend to not wear. I am very picky when it comes to jeans. My jeans HAVE to flare. I'm not a huge fan of the skinny jeans fashion. Flare jeans are also becoming harder and harder to find. I recently just donated a bunch of my jeans to a local store. I would LOVE to re-do my whole wardrobe because I tend to keep stuff I don't really wear :s

I pretty much wear all of them. I just didn't realize I had so many pairs until this week! I wear them in some sort of rounds. I don't know if they are the "skinny" jeans but they are pretty tight. My taste has changed over the last few years too. I also notice as I get older that it gets more and more difficult to find the things I like!
