Debbie Schlussel, at www.debbieschlussel.com reports on an oil spill that occurred in July. It was in the Michigan area and drained into the Kalamazoo River. Our America-hating illegal administration and minions hired illegal aliens to clean up the spill, rather that out-of-work Americans, with a 15% unemployment rate.
Some of these illegals were due for deportation, but, oops!

I'm not a conservative, gewcew, but I don't want businesses hiring illegals who sneak across our borders and, yes, I want the government to see that those who do pay a heavy price for doing so. There are too many Americans and legal immigrants who needs jobs.

Spalladino, it's nice to agree rather than contend! It was my understanding that at least 40 of the illegals were originally slated for deportation, but the illegal administration reniged on that. Lawlessness begets lawlessness.
gewcew, the operant word here is ILLEGAL.

Again, gewcew, I echo spalladino with respect to the hiring of ILLEGALS. And government has imposed themselves on business hiring practices through affirmative action and quotas for years now.

You and I are on the same side on this one, epicure, although you've given the Obama administration credit for actions they did not take. A contractor hired these workers and was stupid enough to bus them out of town after the contract was terminated, where they were caught. The contractor, Hallmark Industries should pay a stiff fine for this. I haven't been very comfortable with the *new* workplace strategy of searching through records instead of raiding companies that hire illegals. It's harder to prove that nothing is being done that way.
