Labor Day weekend?

Is anyone doing anything fun for Labor Day weekend? My boyfriend and I just put our grill together so we can do some cooking out. But other than that we didn't end up going anywhere or doing much of anything. Did anyone go out of town or do anything fun for Labor Day weekend?

I can't really do too much as I am the primary care giver for my son. But on Saturday morning I did get to run a 5K... plus I always go to TaeKwonDo classes too. But the race was really fun, even though I am sore now since I hadn't run in two months! ugh! I may go to the lake with my son's dad tomorrow. It will be nice to get outside a little!

Whoa a 5k! That is awesome! I couldn't begin to attempt that. I bet you are really proud since you haven't ran in two months! Yeah it is definately nice to get out. Especially today and tomorrow because it is suppose to nice, here anyways.

Yes it is very nice here too! I won't attempt a 5K without training next time. I am proud as I jogged the whole way without walking.. but I can't hardly walk today since my legs are so sore! lol! (not funny

Hi, KateVonP. I did not do anything this special. We don't have transportation of our own right now. Nor have we been invited to a cookout. I am just here at home with my kids and my husband. They have to go to school tomorrow. So I will be right back on my feet once again. I will be spending the remainder of my day planning tomorrow for them for school. I hope that you and your boyfriend will enjoy your cook out together.
