I just tried to add a smiley to a response and it said my rank isn't high enough

I'm kind of confused as to how the whole ranking thing works. can someone explain this to me? Are we supposed to be ranking each other? how?

it is the number after your name, so you need to have like 100 or 200 to get the smileys you have to have 500 for copy/paste but hang on, you'll get there

hun, the first several thousand of mine we had no smileys at all, they didn't add them until a couple of years ago!

Yeah I was trying to copy and paste the other day when i realized the same thing but for that you have to be at 500. Oh well you are almost half way there and then you can use smileys!

Hello zions, It would have been easy if you check the mylot faq. well, in case i'll explain it. you need to reach 200 post before you can use the "emoticons" or the smiley you just want to put. you're number of post only has 80 and above but below two hundred. more on this link. You've already found out that you will be able to use emoticons when you reach 200 posts. But you can use the myLot code until then, I mean you can use the underline, bold and italic facilities before you reach 200 posts. I found this information very usefull when my rating was under 200, I hope it will be the same to you, too.
