A nap in the daytime is always medically proven to be beneficial. But it extends beyond just a nap things can get messy. Unfortunately, when we are working at offices, the bosses and people around just seem to ignore this and this has sometimes ill-effects on our health. Since my illness, I am at home for almost all of the day and I admit that I am doing justice to the sleep. I take a nap at the day time - maybe the medications also force me this but I am happy at the moment.

I never plan a sleep in the daytine but if I have slept less than six hours during the previous night then it often happens that after lunch I will need to have an hours sleep. If I have something that I should be doing then it can't happen but if I am free then if I feel I need to sleep I will. I am lucky that I work in the evenings, My shift ends at midnight so I never get to bed much before 2 am and as I only need six hours sleep I have plenty of time during the day to catcg up. I don't think that it is wrong if it makes me feel better. I certainly wake up refreshed after a short sleep in the daytime.

I don't usually sleep during the day, unless I'm really sick or something like that. I think that, if you can't sleep at night or something, I think that you should try and find a system that works for you and enables you to get some sleep.

I think it's good when you have a sleep at daytime. But not too much, just 30 minutes when you finish your lunch. It's help you recharged your energy. So you can feel strengh when you wake up. But if you sleep more than 1h , you can't sleep at night = so you have imsomnia

I think it doesn't matter we get sleep at daytime. Our bodies can decide their own, when we need to sleep and it depend to our activities every day. Actually we have to get sleep 7 until 8 hours in a day for a quality of sleep and usually we do it by night. Some times I get sleep at day time, when I didn't get enough sleep at the night before...taking a nap give me a new energy to continue my activity. There are some people have to get sleep at daytime, because they work at night...their body some how adapt this situation.

I do know many people that like that take a nap on the evening, but my family doesnt have that habits and we usually wont do that unless we are really sick. I have heard from a health program about that its actually not bad to take a nap at evening, but I dont really remember the reason behind it.

Actually, a nap in the afternoon like that after the lunch is good for our health. It refreshes a lot but no deep sleeping is recommended. Well, I used to sleep like that some four or five years before but now I have no time like that to rest. But I long to have such naps even now.
