I tried all kinds of diets and they would work for a while and then I would lose the plot and end up bigger than when I started - the usual yo-yo dieter story - then I found the fat loss guide for idiots on the internet and I never looked back (touch wood lol) It's great and basically teaches you to eat small portions more often and combine the right foods when you want to lose weight then alter it a little when you want to maintain..

I think a morning walk might give me more energy lol - I don't get enough exercise and think this is always one of the main features of healthy lifestyle. I do walk a fair bit, try to park that bit further away from work etc but not in a structured enough way I think.

I don't diet. I love to eat! =p But my friend took an L-Carnitine pill and it is really effective on him. But when he stopped it, he gained weight again. I think you can solve obesity by doing it regularly and becoming committed on losing your weight!

yes, i know that. i also told my friend that. And she said, it was only for a month since the pills are expensive to maintain. She also thought it was a natural pill with L-Carnitine with no therapeutic claims. But i think that it is still dangerous for the health. Some drinks in the groceries too have a slimming effect. Is it effective? Some also have L-Carnitine on it and my friend also told me that drinking the beverage at least 1 bottle everyday seems to work too for her. She said she lost a few pounds doing it for a month. It clearly shows on her body. But I am not into slimming and dieting. That was only my friend's experience. I really don't care how much I eat because I love eating!

NO diet has ever worked for me yet. Its very difficult for me to be on a diet. My sister also told me that diets are for those who do not appreciate food. lol I appreciate food a lot so I dont go on a diet anymore.

I once followed a diet from slimming world and lost a lot of weight. it works on the principla that you have a varied diet. One day it can be a low carb day which means eating a lot of meat and salads, and a few days which allows you to eat carbs. I am on a diet at the moment and am sticking to the same kind of principals. So long as you know what healthy eating is then you cannot really go wrong. For the first time in a week I ate some jacket potato tonight and it tasted like a treat, it was so delicious. To be honest a diet plan is just a quick fix and more of a temporary thing. If you want to lose weight and keep it off you need to consider a total change in lifestyle. This is what I am trying to do now, over the last week I have eaten well, stopped snacking and exercised for just 30 minutes per day and as a result I lost 4lb.
