Why do people have to get married?

People get married to show their undying love for one another... another thing, getting married is a personal choice not a religious thing, it is between the couple not other's decision nor a requirement..

There are many reasons why people want to get married. I think that the main reason being is that they want to make that next step. They want to seal it.

People marry to get company that they would not get if they were single. Nobody wants to return to an empty home, which is what happens if you do not marry.

Marriage is a part of life. People get married because it is somewhat a need. In my case, I get married because marriage is an essential thing in the plan of Happiness that God has for us. Marriage between a man and woman is ordained by God.

Personally i think people should marry only if they want to start a family.If not then better not marry.Just in case the partner get bored with your and wants to leave your then it will be bad. Domestic partnership works well if the partner set the rules first like separate accounts, share the rental , and such. Just like pre nuptial agreement haha.

marriage is practical. aside from being a covenant between you and your spouse under the blessings of God, marriage is done for the sake of practicality. things are just more easier (and happier) when shared.

People got married because they wants companion in life. Must better to have companion as per saying says: "No man is an island" This means we need companion to be happy but in many cases the situation is opposite. Instead of being happy while you have companion, it worst the situation so many couple decided to separate their lives by divorce and finding another partner to sustain their individual needs.

I think that people dont have to get married. They get married to show that they aprove to comitte to their partner forever (even though it doesnt happen alot.). I think people should only get married when they really think they should. I men why get married if you are going to split up right. They need to make sure that their parnter is the one they want to be with for the rest of their lives. It is more to show that they are a couple and they are dedicating their lives to each other, it isnt exactly an accomplishment

People really need to get married to keep the human existence, if no one gets married there won't be any person in this world.

No one has to get married. In fact, there are a lot of people I know who don't want to get married at all. Personally, I would love to marry because I see it as a dedication and a commitment. I want to vow to the person I love that I am going to be with them forever and what we have is important to me. Then again there is always the joy of claiming someone as your spouse to the world. To compare it to something else, you can think of it like getting a job. (I know that's a bit of a cold and odd comparison but that's the first thing I can I think of) Some people would rather be on the payroll and be a definite employee while others would like to freelance. Unfortunately there are people who see marriage as a happily ever after- once they say "I do" then everything is candy and roses. However, they are smacked with reality afterward.

people dont have to get married. they get married only if they want to ^^ i think people must marry when they love each other and both want it and not marry for other reasons like money, or arranged marriages. everyone should marry bcs of love :) if we dont love why will we live with that person and sleep with that person and be with that person? for me doesnt make sense. we should marry only for love^^ about me i couldnt marry someone without love :) i cant ^^
