Problems with Paypal -- cannot link debit card. Help!

I'm from the Philippines and I have a Paypal account which has been unverified for quite some time. That time, I got married and I had to change my IDs, which took several months before I got them, so it was only recently that I got a debit card. Anyway, one time I checked, Paypal suddenly made my account "limited." It then said, to lift it, I needed to confirm a credit card. Paypal said that I could use a debit card, provided that it has a Visa or Mastercard logo (which my debit card has). So I entered all information... but then, a message prompts: "Your account is limited. Please check your Account Overview page for messages about resolving this problem." But when I look at the Overview page, it said the same thing: "Confirm your credit card." So now, I'm pretty much at a loss. What do I do? I made sure I entered the correct information, but Paypal still does not accept it? Anyone from the Philippines could help?

Hi! I'm from Philippines too and my paypal is still unverified. My aunt opened an account in union bank if Im not mistaken it is an EON debit card. It's actually an atm/debit card but can be used to transact online just like credit card. My aunt linked it to her paypal account and she told me to do the same. I havent open an EON card because I only have few dollars in my paypal account and Eon card is 350 pesos but its a one time payment (I guess so). Hope this information help. :)

I recently got my EON card. By the way, the Php350 is an annual fee, so UnionBank will be asking for you to pay that every year. Thing is, my account was unverified then got limited. I kept on trying to enter all the information and made sure they were correct, but the message "Your account access has been limited..." prompts every time. I'm sad, I have $30++ there, and it seems I won't be able to get it.
