Oh my God, the labor day holiday going too fast, I am just not ready to go back to work yet. This morning I just too lazy to ready to get up, but the alarm clock ringing too loud, and I have to press the stop button. I just wish that I have an extra day off, and at least I can sleep more, and do some lazy stuff this whole day. Well, everyone, we all have to back to normal life again right.

Oh, I completely understand. I start school again on Thursday, and sadly, I still have a little bit of summer homework to finish...but I'm exhausted! When my alarm goes off at 5 AM, I'll hit snooze, and actually get up at 6. Then, I procrastinate throughout the day...I'm not ready to go back to school. I want my vacation back.

I remember when In school and having to go back to school after a summer vacation. It wasn't fun as I had to get used to a different sleep schedule.

Yeah, I'm nocturnal over the summer, and always have to get back to a "normal" sleep schedule. I started this last week so I have time to adjust.

It's the long weekend effect. I don't like this kind of feeling as well. Though it's only once in a blue moon, whereby we need not be working for 3 days straight, but by the 3rd day, the lazy feeling would have creep into us, making us lose motivation for work. I know all those feelings too well, because in the recent years, there are too much of long weekend holidays over here in singapore! Concidentally, we have one starting on this friday! It's going to be a very blue monday for next week!

Hi, I do believe everyone love to enjoy the holiday, but after it is over, have to back to normal life activities again..start to work and work. For me, I also like holiday, but after come back home, then the tiring part also comes and have to wash all those dirty laundries, clean the house, etc. That was the part that I hate most. Have to unpack all the things and with little kid around, have to entertain the kids also. So tiring... I hardly want to go for holiday trip unless going back to my hometown. Because when think of the unpacking the things once the holiday is over, my mood just gone.

I know the feeling you have now. As a student, I also like the holiday could prolong as more as possible. But I need to go to school now. I think it will be difficult for people change from one surrounding to another immediately. But we should gradually adapt to it. After all, we can not keep ourselves in an environment all the time. So I hope you could go to work again. Good luck!

My husband had to work last night, but was able to be here and his parents, us and his grandparents ate a good meal. I don't work yet, though I really hope to get hired on at this place I have an interview with. Being able to have holidays off is nice, and I remember hating going back because it was so nice to be able not to work for that one or few days.

That is exactly like what you spoke. There is a holiday time, and there is a work day. So, just cheer up and work with spirit! Think that work day will be over and holiday will come again! When you think that way, your body will respond.

Be glad you had yesterday off. I had to work and it was my long day, 12 1/2 hours. Not only that but we were so slow, I guess everyone was enjoying the beautiful day with cook outs, the lake, etc. Being slow made the day seem even longer. I'm glad it's Tuesday, thats my short day!

I was totally lazy yesterday (Labor Day) as well. It honestly felt GREAT! I sat around, ate, read a book, took a nap, watched some TV, did some shopping..Did all of the things I normally don't seem to have very much time to do. i wish there were more holidays in a year.

Lol, when people have holidays too long, they would want to get back to work, but once they get back to work, they would like a holiday. It seems this cycle have always been going on and on. Well, there are times when people are too lazy to get up work due to the laziness to get up. Can't really change much as people are born to have this laziness instinct in their mind and they want more rest than working daily.

If that come true, i swear that i will take a long sleep , take rest :)

Ha ha, it's a but human tendency, and your case is no indifferent. Every monday, for me is a challenge to face, especially when it comes to get up from the bed. And it becomes more difficult, after a 2-3 days holiday.
