i want to share a story about mermaid..tell this to your kids=)

there was once a kid who loved to watch the waves. How she wished she could go to the deepest part of the ocean!
one day the king of the sea appeared to her. He gave her the power to change herself into a mermaid by just calling out his name. If she wished to be a girl again she would just say "enough"
At night, when her parents were asleep the girl would change herself to a mermaid. She found much happiness staying and playing with the fish. She was always sad when she had to get back to the land again.
one day a festival was held and everybody came, because she didn't want to go, she prayed hard that something would happen to prevent her from going to the festival. her prayers was answered and a heavy rain came and flooded the village. Every one died except her for she could change herself into a mermaid. But she was sorry for her parents had died in the floods too....
this story can be a learning that we should never be selfish and always be happy of what we have coz when we are do greedy for something that we dont have we might just loose everything ....=( sad story but it can be depicted to real life right...????

It is a good story about being careful about what and how you pray, too. Careless prayers or as you wrote, selfish ones, come to no good end.
I like the story.I think it would be fun to be able to turn into a mermaid as long as I could turn back whenever I wanted to. Thanks for the story and take care.

i think sooo to it would be fun to change into a mermaid and be back to human when you like lols.... this story could be told to chidren and i hope they learn something from it so i share this to you guys=)

Sad story come from a selfish choice. She had prayed for an unimportant thing which cause her a great lose. This story can be an education to children so they can be more careful and think smart of what they are going to ask.

i think so to this can berelay to the little ones i know they can get something from it.... some children prefer to be told a story during sleep this can be their bedtime story=)

the story also tells us that we can reach for our dream if we are just determined to do so but we have to bear in mind that once we have reached for it, we make sure to have our feet on the ground still, otherwise by becoming too proud of one's success might be the reason of one's downfall and it will be too late to regret.
