Drinking water is one of my habit. I always see to it that I took 8 glasses everyday. And since its summer time, I try to drink more than 8. There are times, I do take 10 glasses a day. With this habit, I believed I will not be getting a colds. Apparently, I am wrong. Now, I am suffering from colds and it is very annoying because my nose is really irritated.
I feel drowned drinking a lot of water now and my colds really annoys me.

Drinking water may help you stay healthier, but it will not totally prevent you from getting ill sometimes. If it makes you feel uncomfortable or if you have to "choke" down the water, it's probably more than you need. I think you have a good habit. Don't let being frustrated make you stop.

Hiya aira,
Do you mean you feel tired after drinking so much water or the cold has got much worse? Either way too much water is not good for anyone at least not in one or two goes. Drink hot infusions if you can like mint, chamomile, eucalyptus or red tea with a drop of good honey.
Drinking something fairly hot not so hot that you burn or irritate the tongue but enough to loosen that yucky feeling inside your head and throat.
Apart from that you could have Sinus blockage which needs medical treatment as it can be very annoying and takes ages to start clearing up.
Water alone will not clear it. It needs a shove or push if you like in the right direction.
Either way something nice and warm to drink is always a comfort. You could make up a soup of Leeks and Onions and Chicken and sip it very slowly in three or four times this is equally as good as any even if it is Summer where ever you are. Get better soon.

Excessive drinking of water can be dangerous to your health. It can alter the normal balance of fluids and salts in your body. You know, those terms like "isotonic" and "hypotonic" or "hypertonic". There should be right amount of water in our body, but not excessive amount. Too much of something is always dangerous.
