Im just curious if what is your answer to this question. But we have the case here. Your mom asked you to buy a medicine in a pharmacy but the money hat was give to you ended in the bookstore. That book is a collectors item and you really really need to buy it. Your mom was very furious. She asked you to burn that book because in the first place you did not buy the medicine, and second, its her money not yours. So what do you think? Share your brilliant thoughts.

I wouldn't be so dishonest to my Mom in the first place. If that money was hers then I would have bought what she told me to buy with it. But if I ended up in that situation, then I still wouldn't burn the book. Burning books is an unthinkable crime to me. It's a waste of resources and of precious written words. I would return or re-sell the book to get the money back and then buy the medicine like my mother asked me to.
