Blogger.com Has gotten better over the years.And so has wordpress,Though I find Blogger easyer to use than wordpress.But if wordpress is done correctly it can work well too.Having said that? Google "likes" wordpress Blogs. They rank well in the seach engines.I don't have any wordpress Blogs at the moment.But I have used wordpress,But it did not go well for me.That's why I changed to blogger, because its easyer to use.

i also used wordpress before but it was too complex for my taste. what i need back then is just a simple site so i switched to blogger.

Yup so true. I used to have a blogger blog.. and I would update with ease. There are lots of great widgets to use as well as great functions. And editing, posting and deleting process is made easy too.

Yes, agree with you on this. I like the statistics counter that Blogger adds to our blogs.
Now I know that half my readers come from US. This shows the successful use of seo and blog posts that cater to readers from US.
I like to see how the readers find my blogs too.

Yup, I agree with your opinion. I have been bloging since 2009 and also I have bee wordpressing (I mean that I have had a wordpress) since 2009 also. If I may compare between them, for me myself, blogging is easier than wordpressing. But I don't know for the time being. I haven't been active for my wordpress.
