Something has his curiosity

Yesterday my oldest and chunkiest and most loved cat Boots snuck outside 2x! My cats are indoor cats though occasionally hubby will bring Boots outside on a leash to explore.
I was hanging up wash outside yesterday and my son starts yelling from the front door, I'm thinking ok the lil stinker can't get into the house (has trouble turning knobs) here the cat was on the porch! I freaked cause I have no idea how I would coax him if I couldn't catch him thankfully he's not speedy unless you are filling up his food dish!
Then he snuck out another time I don't recall if my Son had anything to do with that one or not. And when the girls got home I told them I was locking the screen door so they can't go in & out freely while Boots is thinking of book'n it out the door. Plus he likes to lay on the lower shelf of the end table that's by the front door, wich I may have to move on him
But I don't want to loose him because something has his interest. I'd be a mess w/o my Boots!
Any thoughts on what has his curiosity? the only thing that has changed here is the temps are alot cooler in the past week by nearly 20 degrees.

Hmm, this is very interesting because our Cornbread has suddenly wanted to be outside as well. However, instead of keeping him sequestered in the house, we actually have been letting him out for a little while at a time. We've come to see that he doesn't go far at all and the majority of the time he is laying on the rail of the back deck, or his new favorite place is one the roof of our storage building.

It feels good being outdoors in nice weather. I often wonder if it feels good to animals too!

It could easily be the change in weather, I know my cats go kind of crazy when the weather changes.
Oliver has been running around and I think fell out of the eyebrow window... All I really saw was him scramble around and run off and the cat tree rocking!

hoi 3snugglebunnies maybe some birds come down low enought to
interest Boots or theres a girl cat in heat and looking
pretty good to him. just hunches. or he saw a mouse or
a rat? Hard to figureout sometimes what goes on inthe smart
litle brains of one's cats. They are really such smart
clever little creatures. he he.

There must be something catching his interest, or maybe it's the weather that's making him act all weird. I agree changing things around a little bit is definitely easier then losing a furry friend.
