Right you are. To be a good leader one must be a servant to all. Thus other will follow you. Leadership by example is one good trait of a good leader. If your followers see how you serve others, then they too will follow your footsteps.

I believe that is very true. A good leader has to be a mentor. He has to teach his subordinates both by words and example how it is to be a good servant, therefore, he should first be one. When has been a good servant, he will likely inspire his subordinates. The essence of leadership is service, so actually, the leader is also a servant. In fact, he is the servant of all because he has to take care of all his subordinates and see to it that all the members of his group have all they need in order to function well within the group. He also has the most responsibility because he has to make sure that all of his subordinates are doing their jobs well.

offcourse good leaders must first become good servants ,this is not applicable in many countries ,majority of leaders are corroupt and dishonest ,i do not know where country will go ,thanks for sharing

Yes you are right but few people are born leaders.They never have to work hard to become servants.They are born with a silver spoon.They lead and inherit leadership by birth.

very true. you will never know how to lead if you have never been a servant. the greatest leaders are their own great followers. for them to be obeyed and for them to rule over the other's they should understand how it is to be the servant and how it is to obey the one higher.
