Have you ever try to get your lost cell phone back through IMEI number? / myLot

Hurray, I just got my cell (nokia E71) phone back through the help of International Mobile Equipment Identity number. I feel so lucky now :-) Have you lost your cell phone anytime? Have you tried to get back it through the help of IMEI number?

i have tried once.But I was not able. Even I had my IMIE number with me. And had given this to police man. He took 50 bucks to go ahead but those corrupt people did nothing. I was not able to do any thing on my own.

oh! Yes policemen dont take it seriously though their duty to help us and find the thift. My uncle is a police man who help me to find this lost cell. If you have anyone known in police force, ask them to help you. Thank you for your comment 1anurag1.

I've lost countless phones.. and its usually not by theft but me forgetting. At least I hope it was a simple mistake and not people being so darn selfish and greedy.
