Gold Membership

I was thinking that Mylot needs to start a "Gold Membership" program of some sort. I am a member of a couple of PTC sites that offer this type of program, and I really like the idea. The way it works is simple. We would pay a small fee, maybe $10, to get into the program. Then, whenever someone joins mylot without a referral link, they would automatically become a referral to one of us who is a "Gold Member". It would be a good way to get a few extra referrals, and in the long run, we would make our money back and then some. So what do you think? Do you think this would be a good idea? Would you be willing to participate? I guess if the powers that be here at mylot dislike my suggestion, this discussion will be deleted. If it isn't deleted, maybe that means they have read it, and will possibly consider the program.

I like your proposal but it should be like 10 referrals permanently for gold member. Every new user that joins mylot comes with high earnings expectations and he/she realizes quickly that you need to keep lot's of patience to earn minimum payout and the quality and length of response is required. So most of new users runs away quickly and our investment will be wasted.I am saying this because I got 50+ referrals and all are inactive few of them are well guided and advised by me but no result, even I took one year to realize the earning and learning potential of mylot.

I agree with you. If the referrals only remain with us as long as the Gold membership is valid, we will definitely lose money. I have also got some referrals who are very inactive. It needs deep patience and interest to stay for long in myLot, what most people are lacking.

Well, at first thought I was definitely going to say that I really didn't like your idea. However, after reading the entire discussion, I think that it is a good idea and it would be well worth our money. What is funny is that I never invest in sites in any way, but because I've been with mylot for such a long time, it would be something that I would be willing to participate in because I think that there would be the potential of getting your money back if the assigned referrals would be people that were actually active.

Herro goldeneagle What frequency is the payment? Lifetime, monthly, etc. I understand the system however I also agree with the other comment. Many people join with high expectations. Instead of using mylot as a fun place to be, they expect high earning with little effort. My earnings are based on my mood and my effort. I have a few referrals, however, not active. I have more fun basing my earnings on my activity, versus having expectations on others and being disappointed. Just a thought. Prosperous mylotting Of forgot, if the price was right, I would join a "Gold" program

The other programs I am in pay referral earnings monthly. The referrals who choose to participate would make you money. The ones who did not participate would fall by the wayside, and would become irrelevant. However, it would be better to earn some money from the ones in your list who did choose to participate than it would be to not have a list to earn from...

Good idea. I would pay the $10 to join as a gold member in hopes of getting referrals. Only problem I can see with this program would be myLot can't guarantee any referrals would be earning money for each gold member they refer to the gold member. A new member may start, realize it takes time to earn and drop out. If myLot worked this potential program on the basis that each gold member would get 25 members for $10, to protect the gold member from any new members leaving, it would be very interesting and could be potentially profitable. I am all for it.

That does sound like a good idea, and mylot would be getting a little extra money from us, but the problem is a lot of the referrals people get now don't stay, even if they try to help them along the way.

The good thing about a program like this is that the ones who do not make you money just fall by the wayside. On the other programs I have that offer this, there is a section on my earnings page that gives me a collective total of how much I have earned from my referrals at that point. It resets each time I cash out, so it won't tell me how much I have earned since I became a "Gold Member", but at least I can see how much of that particular payment has come from my referrals. If mylot does start to do this, unlike on the other programs I am talking about that only show a number representing how many referrals I have, I would like to be able to view a list of my referrals...

I am new to this whole world of referrals and I find it hard to gain referrals. So I love this idea, it would be good to have a limit so not one person gets so many referrals. I would be willing to pay because eventually you would make it back plus some.
