Is it called dental surgery...

When your wisdom tooth is taken out by your dentist because it's not growing out upright? You see, my wisdom teeth (all four corners) won't come out from my gums because they are slanted outwards. It was excruciatingly painful each day (It hurts SO much that I can't sleep) so I asked my mom to bring me to the dentist. The dentist suggested that I should have it removed as soon as possible or else it will push inwards my other teeth that they'll be disarranged. Worse case, I could go deaf or die if it hits the nerves near it. I can't see what's happening when the dentist is taking out the wisdom teeth. But I can feel he sliced it open after injecting anesthesia (twice) dragged it out with something like a longnose and sew it close with a hook like needle. If I were in his place I'll freak out since I can smell the faint scent of blood and I'm sure there were lots of them. I also had more anesthesia with the other teeth since I think I became immune. If you were given the same case... would you have your wisdom teeth pulled out or bear the pain since the process of having them pulled out seems much more painful?
