If my mouth can't say it, it is my mind who is saying bad things in silence.

Both, in the bible, it is written there, that you are already committing sin when you are thinking bad things about your fellow, same with talking bad things about your fellow. That is why God is telling us to acquire accurate knowledge about His standards. It is so important to know His standards for us avoid committing sin and live in accordance with His will.

We have to guard both our thoughts and our words. If we harbor evil thoughts, they will come out one way or another. It is not "either/or". We need to guard both our minds and our speech so that godly things emerge from them.

Hahah! This is sooo me! We would have to give credit to our minds for not spilling it out. It would be wise to speak your mind if you were given a chance but we have to be very tactful with our opinions.

When I was a child, I knew that the sinful things are bad for myself. So I always try generously to every things and everyone. And I always try to optimistic in my mind. I do that because for myself first. Then people around me will be more happier than by me.

I guess it's the mind because the mind is doing both. It can say bad things in silence and the mouth will not speak it without the mind first thinking that you say it. It's connected that is why sometimes you regret saying the things that hurt others since you're already not thinking right and you're saying it because your mind is telling you to say it.
