Holding on is not just for the sake of the relationship or for how long you have been together. It's just that you really love that person so much and you are willing to accept everything. LOVE should be UNCONDITIONAL, it shouldn't be RATIONAL!???

Love should be unconditional. Love is an unexplainable phenomenon that is and can be irrational at times. At some point in life we all will face or have found love with someone, yet were unable to keep that person by our side. For some, love can be based on the condition of "what can the other person due for bring to me".... This kind of conditional love often see's failure. Love based on the philosophy of "how can I enrich and bring happiness to my partner" is an unconditional love that creates deep and lasting bonds. Those bonds are the ties that cause one to hold one. While you may be able to accept many things about the other person, don't lose site of your needs and desires as well. To base a relationship solely on servitude is to surrender ones identity and individuality. There must be a healthy balance between being willing to serve the one your with, and your partner being willing to return the same with out either losing their own identity and individuality.
