This haven't happened to me yet. I didn't become bored at work. If it happends to have nothing important to do for the business I work for, I spend my time on the internet, usualy on a dog's forum. Now that I discovered myLot, I use the free time I have to myLoting.

I exercise, this is a good way of cutting off boredom. Try to do some active activity to keep you going but do not over do it cause boredom again will set in. Moderation in every thing you do would do the trick. Have an active day in work, chat, mingle with your officemates and share whatever ideas you have to keep your mind active.

I'm still enjoying my job so I haven't done anything about that. But once I felt that I'm getting bored then that's the cue that I have to find another one. I'll start with updating my resume and then proceed with sending it to companies that suit me. I don't want to stick to a job that is no longer enjoyable. It will only lead to me performing poorly.

When we co-workers get bored with our work, we usually hang out at the coffee shop and chat for hours there. We also plan to go out and eat at restaurants that we haven't eaten before and of course do shopping together :).

I do get bored too because I spend most of my time using the computer. But I don't let really boredom to take over and became lazy. I make use of my break time to kill boredom by eating and talking to colleagues.

Jobs would always start out with so many new things to do and to learn. After a while though when you already got the hang of it and things begin to settle down, you'll have more time on hand. Now what to do? You have many options. First, get another job? That might provide you with a little more excitement but less stability. Second, just find something to do which will be very productive. That way you'll have something to occupy your idle time. Look forward to something daily. Look at your boss!?!
