Obama stumping for Boehner?

This is because Boehner is a hold over from the bad ol' days of the Republican party, and he is the leader of the party. Boehner enjoyed the Bush years, and is supporting all of the bad policies that led to our current economic crisis. He also is the poster boy of Corporate junkets, and many of the "perks" that make regular Americans sick. Not to mention he is the only person from Ohio that has a tan 365 days a year (which DOES upset the rest of us Ohioans).

You're right about name recognition in politics but here's how I see it - President Obama mentions Boehner repeatedly and when that's discussed on various news shows along with Boehner's picture and perhaps some clips of his more memorable quotes voters may say, "OMG, so THAT'S the guy who thinks he'll be the next Speaker of the House. That goofball with the fake orange tan!" Then they'll vow to do whatever it takes to prevent the tan man from becoming the Speaker. Sounds like a hit to me! Annie
