"What is one big mistake that you've made in your life and what did you do to make it right?" This question was asked by actor William Baldwin to Miss Philippines Venus Raj in the recent Miss Universe 2010 pageant where she faltered. If you were in her situation, what will be your answer to the question?

hmmmm...my biggest mistake was not waiting for the man that God had appointed for me. I had to try out a couple of guys and went with them for dates. i was kinda desperate then. it is not that something awful happened, it is just that i would have wanted my husband to be my first boyfriend. because i got impatient, i made mistakes. but of course, this is not something that i were to answer in a beauty contest. lol although i kinda feel bad that venus raj did not win the title of Miss Universe, she had already achieved a lot. and after all, i guess it is not easy to answer in english in front of so many people with an impromptu answer.

You're so right about Venus. I am also very proud of her in spite of what happened and people making an issue about it, at least she made it to the finals and we're (the Philippines) back on track. Hmnn about your biggest mistake, I guess every woman would really like their husband to be their first boyfriend but you know maybe there is a purpose why we have to experience being hurt and commit mistakes along the way because how will we learn if we don't stumble right? I on my part am thankful I have those experiences because it molded me into the person I am now. Thank you for sharing your answer. :)
