If myLot admin will permit this post to stay longer, thank you.
If this will be removed, my apologies to those who will take time to read and will respond. I just want to share this, especially to those who wants to know which TV program is helping us with our little angel's health condition. I just found out this page on Facebook.
As the saying goes, Health is Wealth. So how do we protect ourselves from various threat to our well being? By being armed with proper knowledge and information.
“Alagang Kapatid” is a documentary and feature show that tackles various health concerns and medical developments. The show aims to be of service to the Filipino public by providing information related to health, and offer hope and inspiration to those in need of medical assistance, and during emergency situations.
The show’s pilot episode will start airing this coming September 11 and will be continuing its service every Saturday from four to five in the afternoon, it will be hosted by veteran broadcast journalist Ms. Cheryl Cosim.
To inform the public and save lives, that’s our mission. Because for every health crisis, we offer the gift of knowledge and healing; the gift of “Alagang Kapatid”

Is this the counterpart of her former show at ABS CBN which is "Salamat Doc?" Sorry can't help but compare. :D No offense meant. Congratulations anyway! At least it's for a good cause.

Hi neil!
I honestly love these lines "To inform the public and save lives, that’s our mission. Because for every health crisis, we offer the gift of knowledge and healing; the gift of “Alagang Kapatid”." I have always believed in the values of education. Public education like this is by no means a great challenge to many communities. I know it's just as useful in the rural areas where I worked for some time as it is in the city where I work now. Eventually it is for a good cause and should be supported. I may just have to search through the net to catch up with the show. I hope for its every success. Yes it's a GIFT!

thanks for the very nice comment tomi. you know, i also like the line from their first trailer they broadcast two weeks ago, "giving help more than expected" or something to that effect. it's actually in Filipino so i have just interpreted it and that's how i understand it.

We don’t have the program here but it is so good to see that it is going ahead and I hope it will be beneficial to you and your family in regards to helping your little one. The program will also make others aware of the condition and that is can be a blessing to many people. So out of your situation good will come I’m sure especially when your son is well again. All the best my friend...

Hi, Neil. I'm hoping things are getting better with you especially Magiting.
Thanks for sharing this. Though I am not really an avid fan of Cheryl but I am interested about health topics. I'm glad this will be airing in the afternoon. I'll sure watch for Magiting's story...

thanks jo-an for sharing your thoughts too. well, i am not also an avid fan of Cheryl, but because the program is so timely for our son's condition and maybe, because if we are not one of those they intend to help, i may not be watching the show. but i believe that show will soon be a hit to the Filipino audience, specially to those who really needs their help. if our son will truly be featured, i will let you know.

I don't see any reason why this post will be removed. But if ever it will be, its a risk i'm willing to take
.
So, would this mean that your son will be featured on TV5? It's my guess that it'll be, but i wouldn't want to make any guesses. By the way, you just answered a question that's been bogging me for a long time already. You see, i don't really watch TV5 often, in fact the only show i'm really fond of following is talentadong pinoy. I wonder why i dont see sheryl cosim on "salamat doc" anymore on channel 2.Now i know that she has a show with the same format on TV5. So when can we expect to see you featured on her show?

as i have said on one of my post, we have shot scenes. the program researcher whom i talked to initially came here with the segment producer, cameraman and lightman. they told us that our story would probably be featured on their fourth presentation or september 25th. but still, i will not confirm this as we still have to finish the check-up with the hospital, etc.

hi neildc i am so glad they are airing your sons case and am hoping that soon they will help you to have that crucial surgery for
that dear little son of yours. I will probably not get to see it
unless it airs in the US but I am sure praying hard and will keep
praying until he is all better. hugs.

i just had a chat with the program PR and she said they are doing everything to convince the hospital doctors and the admin to do the surgery for free. and even the marketing people of their station is getting in to get some deal and make the hospital nod for the free surgery for our son. the producer itself wants to make it sure that it will be surgery for zayzay before we fly to manila. if ever i can get video clips, i will share it on facebook for you.

Hello Neildc,
Hell! it's about time! and it so happened that our channel 5 here had finally been fixed. Ms. Cheryl Cosim used to be from "Salamat Doc" from ABS CBN or sometimes an news reporter in the ANC news.
I wonder if you're story had been aired in Tv5 yet?
but that's fine. i really like this channel too.
