This was to good to pass up, but I just want to say that I am not practicing guilt by association I am just writing about something I came across. Apparently the graduating class of 1969 of Cape Central High School both Rush Limbaugh and the infamies Rev. Terry Jones were apart of this class. Oh well make out of this what ever you wish. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2010/09/classmates-rush-limbaugh-and-t.html

Trivia is fun isn't it. In this case, that is all it is. I doubt that these two had much in common even back then. Shalom~Adoniah

I just wanted to correct something that I wrote not Infamies but Infamous, I was doing something else and sometimes I forget to proof read.

Don't worry, I am dyslexic. I have spellcheck everywhere...lol. I can do perfect mirror writing even when I am typing. sometimes it is cool, sometimes not. Most of the time I do not even see it. Shalom

Had Terry Jones been burning Bibles and had he been Obama's classmate... I can't even begin to imagine how Fox News would distort this story: "Obama helped Jones with his homework... on the BOLSHEVIK REVOLUTION!!"

Yes they would have been talking about that for months.

I agree, it IS too good to pass up! I also agree there should be no "guilt by association". Heck, if that were used I hate to think what my "reputation" would be, judging by some of the losers in MY high school class! I'm not sure how big this high school is or was but I must say it is unusual for there to be two "famous" members from the same class. I guess I should say ONE that is truly famous and another who has gotten far more than his deserved - or NOT - fifteen minutes. Put it this way, it's likely that both Jones and Limbaugh received mention on all of the news networks the past few days and I sure can't remember when ONE from my class could say that. Anyway, no doubt there are some from that class that are immensely proud of none ofr both of them and some that are not so proud of one or both of them! Annie

I actually had a point that I was making and I guess I should share it now. Too often people are made guilty by those that they association with, aka Obama with Bill Ayers and so on. Is Rush Limbaugh a hatemonger just because he graduated from the same school as Terry Jones?

I was looking at the photo of the Rev when he as a High Schooler and he looks like a some what normal teen from the time period.

Now that would be an interesting class reunion! However, for some reason this information doesn't surprise me one bit.

They would have plenty of conversation starters.

it doesn't mean anything, as you did mention. if they had been bestest friends or the school had produced an exceptional number of nutcases that would be interesting. otherwise not really.
