What is your favorite holiday and why?

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Not for the presents(which are just a bonus) but because it is the perfect holiday to bring your family together and celebrate. I love christmas music playing from the time we wake up until the time we go to bed. Where I live there is snow on the ground and it looks beautiful. I love to decorate outside and picking out a Christmas tree. All of us as a family decorated the tree together every year. And to watch all the little ones open presents is so fun! I think it is the perfect family holiday! What is your favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving, by far. The history behind it is unpleasant without a doubt, but at the same time, I cannot resist good home-cooking!

Thanksgiving is great because of the home cooking, I agree! Especiallysince my mom is an excellent cook! We have deep fried turkey and it is delicious...yumm

It is great! Last christmas was my son's 2nd Christmas, and it was the first one where he understood what was going on and he just had a blast. I think he enjoyed to bows and wrapping paper more than his presents hehe. I can't wait until this Christmas so he can help decorate the tree!

I really enjoy watching people open the presents I got them too. In fact I have a hard time keeping them a secret from everyone until christmas. I get so excited that I want to give the presents away as soon as I get them. I usually do end up giving them before christmas and then having to go last minute shopping for another present lol
