I have met a lady in his late 40's through our conversation she told me she is a certified shopaholic. She always shop almost everyday of her life. When I asked her where can I buy some stuffs she told me right away where I can find the best and the cheapest available. Wow she really is a shopaholic. But she advised me to become practical when you shop. According to her you have to search for the best finds and within reasonable prices. Do you consider yourself a shopaholic?

An unlimited possibilty (or array) of things awaits at a thrift store, and what about this online discount shopping? care to share some examples?

HI, I should consider myself not a shopalholic. I only buy whatever necessary things that I need,But when I was single and still working, I am a shopalholic. I did not aim for branded goods, but as long as the shirt or things looks nice with reasonable price, I will buy. Since I have become a full time housewife, My shopalholic habit is gone. I seldom shop for myself.

No, I can't consider myself as shopaholic. I rarely go to malls. The last time I went to the mall was when my aunt asked me to pay the bills and I went out immediately.( well it is not considered as shopping itself). I easily get bored and it is tiresome. I prefer staying at home, listening to music and reading rather than going to malls. I am not really the type of person who goes out often. And mallls don't appeal to me that much.

_no, I've never been a shopaholic because simply i don't have source of income to use. its a funny thing but its true :) but i observe it to myself that whenever i have the money, i spend it shopping for my sisters. shall i be considered? i think im not really. even if in case i would be someone who can buy what i want i think i wouldn't be as shopaholic as everyday shopper. its practicality! if i need to buy something and i have money then why not.

I'm not shopaholic. I don't spend a lot of money in buying a lot of things. I take consideration first the things needed on my academics. I just only go shopping in some instances when I need it so. I want to spend my money wisely and not for the things that I don't really need.

I could be, although it is sales I shop. I can't afford to do much shopping, however in 2008 and 2009 when the economy crashed... my husband just happened to get a job with a high salary and I finally, in 52 years could literally go out and shop for wahtever I wanted. Store wise. I couldn't think of anything I wanted! I got a few things, upgraded appliances and things like that, but still....just didn't spend that much. His job lasted 2 years, he was layed off a year ago and now.. I have new things and don't really need to shop anymore..so I guess it is just as well I don't really enjoy it. I hate clothes shopping as I can't find things that fit in my price range. I also hate shopping cause the stores have that music playing so loud, after 15 minutes I am nutsey and ready to walk out. I did that once... found a few things and was in line, and the music was so loud and rappy and even a violent kind of kick to it, I just walked up and layed the things on the count and said. "I can't take this disgusting rage of music anymore. I'll go to another store" and walked out. DIdn't go elsewhere as they all play the loud music but didn't miss what I was going to buy either!

My husband and I are thrift shop'a'holics. We love to shop at thrift stores for books, and sometimes we pick up a few knick knacks here and there, it's a fun place to shop and you get a lot for a little money. It's beneficial when shopping for family as you can find some really nice things.

I can be a shopaholic if I have the money to buy whatever I want... I'm sure that lady you talked to has a lot of money to buy anything she needs... Of course! You have to search the best finds and with reasonable prices in order for you to save money yet with a quality product...

No. I am not a shopaholic. People nowadays should become practical because of the economic crisis specially here in my country. I rarely buy luxury products nowadays. I enjoy shopping if I buy products with a reasonable prices. Being shopaholic always depends on your lifestyle and social status and there is no problem of being a shopaholic as long as you enjoy your life. :)

I am not a certified shopaholic. I don't even remember shopping beyond an hour. I easily get bored especially if I don't have something to buy. Especially when my friend ask me to go in a mall. Of course, who will not get bored if you really don't have the intention to buy something and you really don't have the money to buy something. Especially when you saw something which catches your attention and you suddenly realize that you don't have enough money to buy it. That's why I really prefer not to shop.

No, I'm not a shopaholic person. I only go shopping when I need to buy something. I think I am just being true to my self because I don't have enough money to spend for my self that's why I only go shopping when I only need to buy something. But sometimes when I would have a budget, I would go shopping to treat my self and before I would buy that certain product that I would like, I would go to different store first to have a window shopping and compare the different prices, brands, etc. of the certain product.
