Advantages of using a mac?!!

Mac book computers are more expensive than the others. I'm just wondering why? What are the advantages of using a mac over the others? Is there a special feature or just because of the brand Apple? Thank you very much! ^.^

Apple are seen as a more prestigious brand so their prices are higher, though there are some disadvantages and advantages. Such as Macs do not get virus, but then most programs will not work for mac as they will be designed for PC.
