I live where it is mostly hot and humid weather most all the time and when I go to buy an ice cream whether it is at a local grocery store or just stopping to get a regular one ice cream cone and head on the way to home it always ends up melting and becoming a sticky mess!! Do you know how to prevent this? O.M.G. I went to get 2 ice cream cones at break and I don't even work 5 minutes from Mc Donalds and I drove to get 2 cones and by the time I arrived back to the job it was melted!!

Oh! Your place seems to be extremely hot. I love to eat ice cream too because here in our country, we have a tropical climate so there's no snow time only sunny and rainy days. But so far, I have not experienced your situation. Ice cream really makes me relax in a very hot weather. I would prefer eating ice cream than eating cakes. My favorite ice cream flavor is Double Dutch. It's really a piece of heaven for me.

Hi there, well i do love ice cream also but with limitations too much ice cream is not healthy already. Anyway, about your problem why you should eat your ice cream on the spot. If its only in the cone it will melt really easily, so just try eating it while sitting down or walking

HI jahernandezrivas. I don't have this problem as I am vegan so the only icecream I eat is soy icecream i get in a big bucket from the grocery store! However I have had your problem in the past. If I was going to get icecreams for me and my friends or siblings I would just bring them home and put them in the freezer to firm up again. I don't know how else you would solve this dilemma other than by having an esky in your car with n icecream holding tray! That would work nicely I think but I don't think you're going to constantly have an esky in your car loaded with ice all the time, just incase you decide it's hot one day and want to get icecream!

Hi, jahernandezrivas. I am sorry that your ice cream cones have melted. Have you ever thought about just sitting in the inside of the place that you get your ice cream at. I mean you can leave at a reasonable time to where you have time enough to eat your ice cream. That is what I would do. I just hope that this option is made available to you where you are located.

It is a bit of a problem but unless you carry ice with you I don’t know how you could resolve the problem. Being ice cream cones you can’t even place them in a refrigerated bag with ice because they would spill over. I recommend the ice cream sundaes from McDonalds, they come with a lid, less likely to melt and spill and they are delicious!!

Hello jahernandezrivas, I do not know what you could do. Ice cream cones are meant to eat immediately on the spot. I thinking about the Dairy Queen from my childhood days. Even stores that sell frozen yogurt, people eat immediately. You could ask for the ice cream in a cup with a top, and then put into a cooler lunch bag. Other than that, in hot weather ice cream will melt. Sometimes if the line is long in a grocery store, I have to put ice cream back, or get another carton due to melting. :)

I love ice cream! My suggestion for your problem is that you don't buy coned ice cream. Buy something that is inside a container. That way when it is a bit melted inside you just have to freeze it back in your ref. I buy coned ice cream, but I always see to it that I eat them 2 minutes later. I think they are really not meant to stay frozen for so long.

...haha...in my country the weather is hot too, so what we do is if we buy ice cream in cone, we eat it on the spot where we buy it...or perhaps eat it while walking...in that way, you got it while it is not yet melting..=)

can't you eat it after you by it?or ,i think you should take it under your beg. in fact, reposit it in thick clothes is better than expose it to the outside world .
