Who's gonna watch the VMAs on Sunday?

Its been a year since the last VMAs which was filled with DRAMA. How can anyone forget Kanye/Taylor Swift debacle? You can definitely say that the VMAs are usually not dull. Throughout the years that have supplied us with a lot of things to talk about the next day. I remember when I was in school, I use to watch the show because I knew that something would happen that everyone would be talking about in school the next day. When I was in school, the biggest thing was the Madonna/Britney Spears/Christina Aguilera performance that had tongues wagging. Then there was the moment when Lil Kim came out in this hideous purple outfit and a purple pasty on and Diana Ross indulged her impulse to reach over and jiggle the exposed boob. Though now, I find it ironic that MTV still holds the VMAs since they hardly play music videos (I hear they play them in the middle of the night when no one is watching). So if you're gonna watch, do you watch for the performances, the CRAZY fashion or the unscripted drama that usually happens (ie Kid Rock and Tommy Lee fighting because of Pamela Anderson)

I did watch- for one main reason alone: the performance of Eminem. I thought he did great opening the show. I watch because I love music and I like someone above stated- you can be sure that there will always be something to talk about the next day after a music award show. Be it the VMA's or BET Awards- most are filled with drama...lol SN: Lady Gaga's whole meat dress thing kind of wigged me out. I didn't even realize it was meat until they started talking about it on other shows. I mean who does that..I understand she is a bit ex-centric with it...but a meat dress....come on...PETA must be super pissed.

That meat dress was pretty disturbing. At first I thought it was meant to look meat-like but when I found out that was real I was like YIKES. I flashed back to a ANTM episode where the models had to model meat bikinis in a meat factory. Award shows (especially the non-elite kind) are more about the drama and not the awards themselves. lol

I hate that MTV doesn't play music videos anymore! It sucks and I miss TRL as well. I remember what happened last year and I couldn't help but laugh because Kanye looked like the biggest idiot doing that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but come on Kanye! I don't remember Kid Rock and Tommy Lee fighting? Or maybe I did but more crazier things happened that night. But I don't really have a TV so I'll just probably watch it online because MTV puts them online the next day. This should be a fun year and there are a lot of artists that I want to see like B.o.B and Paramore (who I love tremendously)! Lady Gaga will be there as well so I wonder what she'll wear. Does she even have any more crazy ideas?

Yeah, the performances should be good and I cannot wait to see what Lady Gaga is going to wear this year. Everytime I think she's topped herself, she comes out wearing something even more outlandish. lol

It's over-rated. Then again, MTV has become totally over-rated. I get so sick of watching things like that. I guess it is because I have seen it all before just in completely different ways. I would rather watch "Mystery Diagnosis" than the VMAs.
