i hav a acer 7520 laptop and want to upgrade the memory. when i checked the specifications it say it uses DDR2 667MHz however all the stores here hav are 800MHz. i kno both won't work together but if i take the 667MHz and replace it the 800Mhz would it work jus the same without problems.

In either case it'll work... If you go for higher frequency (the fig. in MHz) RAM, your laptop will have higher memory (total of both) but will run on the lower-of-the-two frequency... If you wanna run it on higher frequency (more than 800 in your case) then you'll have to change the old RAM chip too... Just make sure your laptop motherboard will support whatever RAM you are planning to install.. Have a wonderful day....
