I have a Kodak EasyShare v530. The picture quality is good and it has a ton of settings. The only drawback is that you can't use filters with it.

Yes, I do own a digital camera a Concord and I love that i get to view the photos I've taken and delete the ones I don't like and I'm able to put them on my computer or straight into Yahoo!photos for safe keeping to be printed off when i want them or put them on disks. One thing I do hate about my camera the Concord is the batteries and there cost. The battery cost anywhere from $6-$10 each battery and it doesn't last long the cheaper the batery the shorter the life. Mine takes a little short fat one 123 last about 2 days so And the Camera cost $53. and some change So if you are looking into one might I suggest one that takes batteries you can pick up anywhere like AA or AAA must easier and cheaper to find and the best are the rechargeable ones saves alot of money in the long run..Well I sincerely hope you find a great camera. The best place to look for cameras That I have found and it gives you all the detail and features of them is at Walmart.com Good Luck!!

One of the first things you have to do is decide what you are going to use your camera for or what type of pictures do you want to take? I have four digital cameras and they all are used for different this. I have a Canon A530 that is my general use camera. I take it with me almost every where because it is small and takes very good pictures. This is a camera that I can slip into my pants pocket and go. I have an older Olympus that I take when I am going to be working with students because it is easy to use but has a 10x optical zoom. It also allows for some creative work. I also have a Minolta prosumer camera, a Minolta Dimage A1. this was my working camera until I moved up to the Canon Digital SLR rebel. I did this because of the demands of my business. Respond with questions and I will try to answer. If you are going to do general photography I would suggest the Canon A530. It is very reasonalby priced, uses AA batteries or AA rechargable and SD media card. If you travel you can find AA batteries almost everywhere. This camera also has a 4x optical zoom and many features that you can use for more creative work. Don't make the mistake that one fellow I met. He went to a large camera store and wanted to buy a camera because he was going to his sons Hockey game. He wlaked out with a $2500 to $3000 outfit and then did not understand why his pictures did not turn out. He was shooting an indoor sporting event using the Auto mode. I would suggest that you check out www.dpreview.com for recommendations on cameras and reviews.

Nikon is the best of all brands. I do not believe in Canon. It sucks. Nikon is worth spending on Nikon. I have Nikon FM10. Which one you wish to buy.
