It seems that we have another Locker room problem with the NY Jets. It seems a female reporter was in in locker room and was upset and humiliated by the comments made by some of the players. It seems that this happens every sports seasons. My question is why is it OK for a female reporter to enter the male locker room but we never see any Male reporters in Female Locker rooms right after the contest?

I've always wondered why *anybody* had to conduct an interview in the locker room...but I agree with your point, we never see male reporters in women's locker rooms.

I think a big part of the problem is that you have instant TV News. Looks are all important and so the media hires good looking people and want instant reporting. When ESPE I beleive it was hired a former Miss America with not reporting background and no background in Football why do you think they hired her. She certainly knew she was not qualified for the job with out more training and the players knew why she was hired so what do you think will happen.

I never thought about that, but I don't think that will ever happen, so funny. I will say that if as a sports reporter you need to go into the locker room, than you need to know what to expect. I don't these football players should have to conduct themselves differently just because it is a female reporter as opposed to a male reporter.

Having played HS sports, players are taking showers and getting treatment for bruises etc and you are not concerned with the others in the room. If you have a female trainer she is in a separate room. A little respect from the press would be nice.
