fergie seek a new captain

I am not sure that SAF will pick either in the long run. The problem for SAF is his most regular player is Rooney and after these latest controversy, he would not want to hand over the captaincy to him. The other option would be Vidic or Rio Ferdinand. I think he might give to Rio Ferdinand who in the past has also deputized for Neville. Cheers! Ram

off course..MU must give captain position to player which always play routine and not like this, change position captain in every player in every match...neville must realize that now, he must give his position as captain to other player..for the MU sake :)

Paul Scholes? Do u know how many times or matches he had appeared in last season or the season before?? Getting a place in the starting 11 is itself a big thing, so the captaincy should be given to player who is proving hos talent to appear in the starting 11 of almost every match expect he is released due to injury.. I wonder why u haven't mentioned about Rio Ferdinand? He is Fit and he is ready to get into the matches which are coming next... Next to him, Vidic could also be considered for captaincy.. i also think about Van Der Sar for this position...

I think that this is a tough one, but as I know, Giggs is more a substitution, because he doesn't have the fitness anymore to cover consecutive games from beginning till the end. That is why I think that Scholes would be more appropriate to be selected as captain, because he plays regularly and is has more leader abilities than Giggs. But I know that Ferguson will make the right decision, he is one of the best managers in the world, he definitely knows his job.
