do you keep time?

I know that there are many people who have difficulty keeping appointments and are always late or seldom show up. I just cancelled an appointment because someone said she would come at 5 p.m. and when the clock struck 6, I was out of the place. Later on she called up and said if we could still meet but I said no. Do you also do this?

Well, I sometimes get late but not 1 hour late. It is an insult and it is not a good habit. When I was working in the hospital, I arrived 30 minutes before the time. But it really depends on the situation. We can't tell what will happen to us when we have appointments right. But if her reason is valid, I may reconsider it.

Yes, I agree with you. It is an insult to keep someone waiting for a very long time.

strictly yes, but if it happen only once and they make some appologize call or something like early information on delay i might consider it and will still have the meeting if not bye by, and forget to mention if i`am the want who really need on that appointment i might still do the meeting for my business and profit shake. happy lotting

I do not keep anybody waiting, unless it is an emergency situation for me. Either I do not make a promise to meet, of if I make, I ensure that I reach in time to see the fellow. I value my time and other's time and I go accordingly.

That's one trait we need to cultivate in ourselves.

I'll be honest and say that I find it hard to be punctual at times. I tend to overexert myself and spread my time out way too much, thinking that I can do certain things in a shorter amount of time than is actually possible. Of course, I realize that this isn't a good trait, and that I should definitely change it, but that seems to be very difficult considering the fact that I can't hear any of my alarm clocks in the morning.

I am like you. I always stick to the agreed time. I hate being late, not one for grand entrances. When I am late, I usually have a big excuse and it is usually true. Like you, I also leave when the person I have an appointment with is late. Being late for an appointment is just disrespectful, don't you think?

It is. Like she owns our time? Time is gold and from now on, I am not waiting for anyone. I will go when it's time and she or he is still nowhere to be found.

I would usually try to be punctual for meetings and appointments. However, sometimes, it is usual for wedding dinner to start late, therefore, sometimes i do arrive a bit later than the time stated for Chinese weddings :D Anyway, if i really forgot about an appointment, i would not know until the other person call me. hopefully that doesn't happen often though :p
