Where Is My Future House?

I want to have a house which belongs to myself. But the realistic and high price keeps me away from my dream. The housing prices are still going up, and it seems there's no sign or hope of making it fall down or even go back to its reasonable value. I found a comprehensive rule in modern society: rich people are getting more and more rich, and poor people like me are still walking around the original place or even going backwards. Rich people can easily getting more and more rich through investing their money to the field of real estate or other areas. That's one of the main reasons why housing price are so high nowadays. I hope there will be certain round regulations to limit the speculators' action. For the poor people like me, we're working hard everyday to realize our dreams. But at last we found the increment of our income are far behind the increment of housing orice. So most people choose to be mortage slaves as early as possible to avoid this weird phenomenon happening again. We're helpless and we have no choice. It seems we have to devote our most life to the houses which belong to ourselves. I still remember that I swore to myself long time ago: I will never become a mortgage slave. But reality does not allow us to obey our own promise and it will force people like me to be mortgage slaves one day. What should I do next step? Do you have any good ideas or could you give me any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

I think, even we have our dreamed house, in the future, we will back to the earth, and I think our best future home is in the graveyard.

I can tell you I successfully owned a house for 20 years and I worked really hard with 2 - 3 jobs at a very young age to able to do this. Unfortunately my friend in these economic downfalls, I lost my job and now am loosing my house, so outside of telling you that unless you can pay for it in full and or have a long term stable job, although I did, do not risk putting a low down payment then working morning, noon and night to maintain your home as fate has a way of doing away with things. Good Luck to you, I hope your dream will come true some day.
