People always agreed that experience is the best teacher. Maybe, it is because through experience we can learn something about the world. People cannot simply know what is yellow, blue, green, etc. without having seen the color. People cannot explain the feeling of joy, sad, anguish and some emotional process such as love without relying on experience. From this argument, we can argue that through experience we know things around us. In this case, it presupposes that our mind at birth is an empty tablet and they have ideas through experience through sensation and reflection. The thing that bothers me is that how come that we have an idea of a God whom we cannot sensibly know and experience? Is it possible to know that He really is despite that we can't dissect Him? Is there any other way of knowing aside from experience?

There is no doubt that experience is the best teacher to develop effective knowledge and experiential knowledge only brings real wisdom! The term God is beyond the scope of human knowledge and experience, God is better conceived in human feelings as well as emotions and extra-organic perceptions and often referred as the source of infinite intelligence! We can never prove God by scientific process, but we only feel the grace of God in the continuus process of Nature that holds and supports all the livings and non-livings in this vast Universe!! Thanks and have real knowledge and wisdom!!

Experience does seem to give you knowledge and wisdom. I think that we think of a God even when we have not experienced or seen one because of the number of stuff we cannot explain, such as the question of why we are here and how did we become to be part of this world. It is very hard to believe something came from nothing as everything starts from something. How can something be created without something there to form it to give birth or life to it? As we do not know how it began, we have the idea of a supernatural being. It is like an answer to a question no one can answer or prove. The thought of God may also come from people finding it hard we are alone in this world and is someone to talk to in times of help or loneliness. God is a mental presence.

As what I had remember the story of St.Thomas Aquinas, when he was walking in the sea shore he saw a child digging a small hole, he asked the child, "what are you doing?",the child answer, "I'm trying to fill this hole with the waters of the ocean". St.Thomas Aquinas realized that our minds is just like the small hole no matter how we filled it with the knowledged about God the fact is we cannot know everything about God, because He is an infinite being! Whoever try to know everything about God is a "BLASPHEMER"!
