Many companies hosting their own intranet site, base on webpages. I noticed that in the recent trend, some companies also encourage their employees to socialize within their intranet, by hosting a social forum, or a social network, pretty much similar to our familiar sidetick or mylot. Also, they encourage employees to blog within the intranet in regarding to the updated marketing trends. Do you think that might help people share their knowing knowledge and increase the work performance? Or is it create the laziness of employees, since most people might addicted to chatting and socializing within work?
