Women are from Venus , men are from Mars?

Is it just me or is there a fundamental difference in the way that men and womens brains and thought processes work? How is it that I can ask a simple question or make a simple statement in all innocence and this becomes a major argumentor a major issue, and in reality this probably works the other way round too. It just seems that our thought processes are so different and this is what causes so many needless arguments , through pure misunderstanding or misinterpretation. Have you found this too?

Constantly, but it's not just male/female thinking, it's our upbringing, culture, genetic dispositions, likes/dislikes, personal communication styles, etc. I don't think you can avoid this completely in any relationship, but if you spend a lot of time getting to know the person before getting serious, the odds are better that it will happen less often.

Yeah some people can really get upset about this saying but I have to agree that men and women have got a lot of differences and either gender can not understand the other gender.
So many comedians have tried to figure out women and make jokes about it which I find funny. Unless it is a really awful sexiest jokes but I mean jokes like women being sutle? ( if that is how it is spelt ) and how women get upset over guys when there was no need to be. Very emotional gender and I actually feel sorry for what women have to go through. Men don't really have it easy either most time but wow, you ladies. I feel for you and of course I can not understand but I have heard so mny stories from my women friends and it can be quite heart breaking what they go through with every day life.

I think it must be difficult for men too...especially when women give them a hard time for something that they really don't understand why! It really does amaze me just how differently men and women see things at times, and of course each gender believes THEY are right :o)
