today i had one call from my friend.... there was no caller id or number... there was only "private number" on the screen.. i asked him the reason , he told me that that was one caller id restricted number.. Is it possible to hide our caller Id ? Is their any requirement is needed to restrict our caller id... ? Is it possible to do so with our current number?? what you think? do you have any such experience? Please write your views.......

You can restrict caller ID. But on the other end, you can also set your phone up to refuse calls where caller ID is restricted. I had that problem at my last house. My phone restricted caller ID, and when I called my brother's number, it wouldn't go through because they wouldn't take calls where caller ID is restricted.

Yup it is possible. Depending on your network provider they usually have options to their subscribers. One of which is not allowing your number to be displayed on the other persons cellphone while you are calling them. It is nice if you could contact their customer support hot line so you could also check other features you have on your subscription.
